NFL Week 11 odds: 5 best bets on underdogs

NFL Week 11 begins with the Browns VS the Steelers on Thursday Night Football. We take a look at five underdogs bets in NFL Week 11.

5. Houston Texans (+4) at Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens and Texans are evenly-matched for the most part. However, Houston is coming off a bye and the weather shouldn’t be a major factor yet. While the Ravens are probably the better team by a sliver, that extra point means something. If the line was a straight-up three, it’s s stay-away. At four, it opens up the possibility of the Texans winning, losing by a field goal or in a close game or covering through the back door.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars (+3) at Indianapolis Colts

The Jaguars are underdogs and rightfully so, but this is a great play for the bettor. Jacksonville is coming off a bye week, has Nick Foles under center for the first time since Week 1, and draws a staggering Colts club. Indianapolis has lost two straight, Jacoby Brissett is trying to come back from a knee injury, and T.Y. Hilton is still nursing a quad injury. Could be an upset special.

3. Chicago Bears (+6.5) at Los Angeles Rams

Tough to see the Bears outright winning this game because Mitchell Trubisky is terrible, but 6.5 points are too much. Chicago has a good defense and is playing for its playoff lives. The Rams, meanwhile, starting the season 3-0 but have cratered since. Jared Goff looks like Trubisky, Todd Gurley is running hurt and the offensive line is both injured and terrible. The Rams should win, but maybe by a field goal or so.

2. Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins (+6)

I’ve been pounding the table for the Dolphins each of the last two weeks here. Picked them to beat the New York Jets outright and then believed they would at least keep it very close against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday (they did that and then some). Why is that not happening here? Buffalo is 6-3 but it’s fraudulent. The Bills just lost to the Cleveland Browns and barely beat the Dolphins at home a month ago. Smelling another close game and potential upset.

1. Pittsburgh Steelers (+2.5) at Cleveland Browns

Why are the Browns favored in this game? They are two games behind the Steelers and haven’t looked competent at any point this season. Also, Cleveland has been terrible offensively despite a world of talent. Has anybody seen the Steelers defense recently? Minkah Fitzpatrick has five interceptions throughout his seven games with the team. There’s literally no reason to believe in Baker Mayfield against a good pass rush and a terrific secondary.
