NFL Week 13 odds: Making a case for each favorite

NFL Week 13 begins with the Bears VS the Lions on Thursday Night Football. Below we make a case for each favorite in NFL Week 13.

Chicago Bears (-1) at Detroit Lions

The Bears just beat Jeff Driskel earlier this month, and the Lions are coming off a loss to the Redskins. Read that sentence 100 times.

Buffalo Bills at Dallas Cowboys (-7)

The Cowboys know they need to win. Their schedule is tough down the stretch and the Bills, while 8-3, are a team Dallas must beat.

New Orleans Saints (-7) at Atlanta Falcons

This is payback for what happened three weeks ago in the Superdome. The Saints aren’t going to take the Falcons lightly this time, and the offense will roll.

Cleveland Browns (-1) at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers have no quarterback. Cleveland isn’t great but has won three straight and knows a win here propels it into the playoff picture. This should be a win.

Green Bay Packers (-6.5) at New York Giants

The Giants have lost seven straight and now come home to get a pissed-off Packers team. Aaron Rodgers is also coming off the worst game of his career. New York is in a rough spot.

New York Jets (-3.5) at Cincinnati Bengals

New York has won three straight and actually looks terrific offensively. This is bad news for the Bengals, who can’t play any defense.

Philadelphia Eagles (-8.5) at Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins are awful, and the Eagles are both desperate and getting healthier.

San Francisco 49ers at Baltimore Ravens (-4.5)

The Ravens are the best team in football right now and the 49ers, while awesome, are coming across the country. Tough way to play the Ravens.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Jacksonville Jaguars (-1.5)

Neither of these teams are good, so take the home team and the quarterback who doesn’t turn the ball over constantly.

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts (-3)

These are two very even teams. The Colts however are at home and coming off the mini-bye. Big advantages.

Washington Redskins at Carolina Panthers (-1o)

It’s Washington. On the road.

Los Angeles Rams (-4) at Arizona Cardinals

The Rams have to win to stay in the playoff race, and while the Cardinals are improved and coming off a bye, they haven’t beaten a good team all year.

Los Angeles Chargers (-1) at Denver Broncos

The Broncos are a mess and the Chargers are rested after the bye week. Tough to see Brandon Allen winning this game.

Oakland Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs (-10)

The Chiefs are finally healthy, at home and coming off a bye. Also, Andy Reid dominates divisional opponents. Over his last 26 games against the AFC West, he’s 23-3.

New England Patriots (-3.5) at Houston Texans

Bill Belichick vs. Bill O’Brien.

Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks (-3)

The Vikings are good enough to win and off the bye, but playing the Seahawks in their building in primetime is a brutal task.
