NFL Week 14: 5 favorites to bet on Sunday

With NFL Week 14 getting underway on Sunday, we take a look at five of the best favorites bets to hit.

5. Denver Broncos (-4) at San Francisco 49ers

The Broncos are playing without Chris Harris Jr. and Emmanuel Sanders. Still, they are the superior team with plenty to play for. Denver is 6-6 after three consecutive wins over the Los Angeles Chargers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals. Now, the Broncos are only a game back of the Baltimore Ravens for the sixth and final seed in the AFC playoff picture. With a win over the 49ers, the Broncos will return home for a date with the Cleveland Browns. If not for the injuries, everything would be lining up beautifully.

4. Baltimore Ravens at Kansas City Chiefs (-6.5)

The Chiefs are 5-0 at Arrowhead Stadium this season, but are getting their stiffest test yet in Baltimore. The Ravens are on a three-game winning streak with Lamar Jackson at the controls, racking up more than 700 rushing yards in that span. Kansas City has the worst rushing defense, but the issue is being able to run the entire game against that unit. The Chiefs average 37 points per game, and while the Ravens have the top-ranked defense, it’s a tall order holding them under 30. If Kansas City gets there, it’ll cover.

3. Cincinnati Bengals at Los Angeles Chargers (-14)

This is the biggest spread of the week, but it doesn’t matter.  The Chargers are playing a shell of a football team, with the Bengals going forward without Andy Dalton and A.J. Green. Cincinnati is 5-7 and playing out the string, while the Chargers are fighting to stay within reach of the Chiefs in the AFC West. It would be truly stunning if Los Angeles doesn’t win by 30 points. The Bengals are just looking to get back on the plane and head to the Queen City.

2. Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks (-3)

The Vikings might have a better roster, but the Seahawks are playing much better football. Seattle is clicking on all cylinders and can all but punch a playoff ticket by beating the Vikings with the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals still on the schedule. Both teams really need the win, but taking down Seattle is very tough in its own building, especially in primetime.

1. New York Giants (-3.5) at Washington Redskins

Have you ever watched Mark Sanchez play football? It’s not good. It’s worse than Colt McCoy playing football, which as you may have assumed by now, is also not good. The Redskins are cratering due to an avalanche of injuries, while the Giants have actually won three of four and look halfway decent. This ins’t going to be an instant classic, but New York should win even away from home.
