NFL Week 14 odds: Making a case for each underdog
Looking at the NFL Week 14 odds for the upcoming weekend, we make an argument for the underdogs to cover or outright win.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Minnesota Vikings (-3)
Pittsburgh is going on the road after beating the Ravens to save its season, and now gets to take on a team that was almost swept by the Lions.
Atlanta Falcons at Carolina Panthers (-2.5)
Matt Ryan is a far superior quarterback to anybody Carolina is trotting out at this point. The Falcons should cover and could easily win.
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns (-2.5)
The Ravens just beat the Browns two weeks ago despite Lamar Jackson throwing four interceptions in the affair.
Dallas Cowboys (-4) at Washington Football Team
Washington is at home and riding a four-game winning stream. Dallas is a better team, but the spread is too high.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans (-9)
The Titans are still without Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown, and could be without Julio Jones again. How do they score enough to cover nine points?
Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5)
The Raiders aren’t likely to win, but Derek Carr has beaten the Chiefs many times before. He should be able to engineer a few drives to cover.
New Orleans Saints (-5) at New York Jets
With their current personnel, the Saints have some of the worst offensive talent in the league. Even New York’s defense should keep this close.
Seattle Seahawks (-7.5) at Houston Texans
The Seahawks can’t stop anybody, and typically make up for it by not scoring many points. Houston is terrible, but that’s a big number.
Detroit Lions at Denver Broncos (-7.5)
The Lions are going to play hard, especially after beating the Vikings. While Denver almost certainly wins, the Broncos covering more than a touchdown won’t be easy.

New York Giants at Los Angeles Chargers (-10.5)
New York is really up against it with injuries, but the Chargers are so inconsistent, Los Angeles could fail to cover.
Buffalo Bills at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3.5)
If the Bills are ever going to play with a frantic, desperate pace, this is the week.
San Francisco 49ers at Cincinnati Bengals (-1)
The 49ers have more experience and the Bengals are one of the most unpredictable teams in the league. Also, is Joe Burrow 100 percent?
Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers (-12.5)
The power of prayer might come in handy here.
Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals (-2.5)
The Rams desperately need to win if they’re going to have any shot in the NFC West. Expect a very amped-up team against Arizona.
