According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, the Packers wideout will miss as much as a month and a half with an ankle injury.
Green Bay Packers receiver Equanimeous St. Brown suffered a sprained left ankle Thursday against the Oakland Raiders and could be out up to six weeks, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Friday.
Aaron Rodgers and company are hoping for a bounce-back year after missing the playoffs for two straight seasons. Green Bay just hasn’t been able to get back on track after dealing with Rodgers’ injury issues and now having to start fresh under new head coach Matt LaFleur.
Although St. Brown isn’t Davante Adams, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, or Geronimo Allison, the Packers lose some depth at the wide receiver position. The Norte Dame product only caught 21 passes for 328 yards last season, but there are high hopes he can be a reliable target for Rodgers this season.

The Packers will have their work cut out for them in a tough NFC North division and a competitive conference as they attempt to build some special with LaFleur and a hungry Rodgers. Only time will tell if they can become a force once again, but they’ll definitely need to stay healthy in order to do it.
