The start of the 2020 season is less than two months away, but there remains many lingering concerns from the players. “Because I’ve seen guys posting a video in a nightclub, and it’s just like, ‘Yo, we’re attempting to play football. That’s not going to be OK.’ You see guys working out in one city on a Monday, working out in another city on a Tuesday, and another city the next week, and it’s just like, ‘Dang, if they’re working out here, here and here, that means you have to be traveling and you come across however many people,’ the Patriots star said.
“Or you see a guy posting pictures and there’s hundreds of [people], whether it’s anywhere. So for me, it is nerve-wracking.”

These are all reasonable concerns as the virus remains a prominent issue. A second wave of the illness has hit the United States far worse than hoped, while many players are not taking the situation seriously. Many other players likely hold the same sentiment around the matter.
The NFL also hasn’t worked toward putting for a set plan to handle the 2020 season. The coronavirus is still an issue that can easily flare-up if things are not appropriately managed. There should be a much clearer picture on this front in the coming days.
