The New England Patriots have a major concern heading into the AFC Championship Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Earlier this week it was reported that Brady suffered a right-hand injury which required X-rays.

Fortunately for Brady, the X-rays on his hand came back with no structural damage. Despite the better-than-expected results, Brady’s hand is still a concern. However, his hand is alright, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

On Sunday, the Patriots will go head-to-head with the defensive-minded Jaguars. Jacksonville will pose a difficult challenge for New England regardless of Brady’s health. Although, if he can’t throw the football, it could be a long day for the five-time Super Bowl champion.

Even with Brady’s hand injury, the Patriots are still heavily favored to come out on top against the Jaguars on Sunday. New England is hoping to advance to the Super Bowl for the third time in four years. Brady is already in the history books with five titles to his credit passing Joe Montana of the San Francisco 49ers, but a sixth title would only strengthen his case for being the best player ever to play the quarterback position in the NFL.

At this point, the team’s focus is the Jaguars with Brady hoping to push through his injury and advance to the big game once again. If New England can advance to the Super Bowl, they’ll face the winner of the NFC Championship Game against the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles.
