Patriots’ Tom Brady says ‘zero’ chance he retires after Super Bowl 53
On Feb. 3, New England Patriots superstar quarterback Tom Brady will play in Super Bowl 53 which will be the ninth time he’ll suit up for the big game.
Not only is this an incredible accomplishment in which he’s won five times, but he’s 41 years old and still going strong at the helm of the Patriots. Brady had moments during the 2018 regular season where some questioned how much he has left, but now his critics have taken back seat with the veteran potentially on the verge of his sixth Super Bowl title.
With Brady possibly winning another ring, many have wondered whether he’ll call it a career after facing the Los Angeles Rams next month. Brady has silenced any speculation regarding his future by simply saying there’s zero chance he’s retiring, via ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Asked if there’s any chance that Super Bowl LIII is his last game, Tom Brady told @JeffDarlington, “Zero.”

With Brady set to come back for more, it’s probably a safe bet to assume that head coach Bill Belichick will do the same. Belichick has also been linked to potentially retiring or going coaching elsewhere, but that might not be the case if Brady is intent on keeping it going.
The Patriots will have their work cut out for them in Super Bowl 53, however, with the Rams being one of the best all-around teams in the NFL this season. Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh will be determined to get to Brady all game long and if they can accomplish that, Los Angeles might go on to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy while Brady goes back to the drawing board to figure out how he’ll win that elusive sixth ring.
