Tom Brady’s representation has already talked to Raiders, Chargers, and Colts
As the start of free agency nears closer and closer, there is a growing notion that Tom Brady may have played his final game with the New England Patriots.
That has continued to grow louder with reports suggesting that he has yet to speak to the Patriots. Meanwhile, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network has stated that Brady’s agents have talked with the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Indianapolis Colts. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media named the Chargers, Raiders, and Colts as teams Don Yee and Carter Chow have met with about Brady this week in Indianapolis.
There is still plenty of time before the start of free agency, but the fact that he’s doing the leg work to already reach out to those teams is quite intriguing. There are a couple of teams such as the Tennessee Titans and New York Giants there were reported as having an interest in Brady, but he chose not to have his agents speak with them.
That could change in the coming weeks, but this at least puts the Raiders, Colts, and Chargers all on the map as suitors that could see Brady leave the Patriots to join. The Patriots not speaking to Brady shouldn’t mean that they are out on him, but if that persists, it does make things much more interesting.
There were also reports that this was further fueling the dialogue that he could be on his way out. Only time will tell what will unfold for Brady.
