Tyron Smith feels Jets might be able to ‘go all the way’
The New York Jets have once again focused on revamping the roster around star quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
The latest piece to the puzzle is Pro Bowl left tackle Tyron Smith, who voiced that he believes the Jets have all the parts to be a special team in 2024.
“I just feel like they have all the pieces together right now, and they’re getting the final pieces this offseason to produce a team that can go all the way,” Smith told reporters Thursday on a videoconference via ESPN.

Alongside Williams, New York signed former Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams. The Jets have made it clear the franchise is in win-now mode with their star quarterback to maximize his remaining window.
Although Rodgers is coming off a torn Achilles tendon, New York hasn’t shown any lack of confidence that he will be able to still perform at an elite level.
Smith is coming off a strong campaign last season, where he earned a Second-Team All-Pro nod despite playing in 13 games. The 33-year-old appears to be in the latter stage of his career but still has plenty to offer when healthy as one of the game’s most dependable left tackles.

He will be joining a restructured offensive line, which features three new starters in left guard John Simpson and right tackle Morgan Moses.
The draft still remains ahead, but the Jets are forming a roster that could see them make noise like they hoped last season before Rodgers’ injury.
Ultimately, time will tell what lies ahead for New York.
