Russell Wilson: Seahawks Are ‘In A Storm’
Seattle Seahawks superstar quarterback Russell Wilson is having a tough time on his return from a finger injury.
Seattle’s problems culminated further with a 17-15 Monday Night Football defeat to the Washington Football Team.
The seven-time Pro Bowlers’ performances of late have been characterized by missed targets.
“It’s challenging right now, but, at the same time, I know what we’re capable of. What we’re capable of has to show up. We have to make that happen,” said Russell Wilson.

“I don’t know any other way. I’m not one of those guys to be down and out and not believe and give up; give up and give in. I’m gonna keep working my butt off every day. This team is, too. That’s what we’re gonna make sure of.
“We’re in a storm, you know, and I believe that we have to keep going,” Russell Wilson said.
“The only way to get to the other side is just believing that the waters are going to calm down a little bit and we’ll be able to get through it. I think that this season has been a tough journey so far just in general. We’ve had some crazy tough games and battled , battled, battled. The last few minutes of the game showed we have the right character of guys – that’s what’s special about this team. Just to believe that something great is going to happen when we’re down by eight.”

“Film doesn’t lie. We’re missing some stuff. I don’t see indications of that in practice,” Carroll said of Wilson’s play. “I don’t know what to make of it other than the fact that we gotta keep battling, keep trying to figure it out. I thought we had some guys open tonight, with some chances, and unfortunately we didn’t hook it up.”
