Will The Milwaukee Brewers Finish Strong
We are roughly halfway through the MLB season. There have definitely been some huge surprises, and we have learned a lot thus far.  Check out the updated future odds if you do not believe me. We also have a lot of questions going into the second half of baseball, like can the biggest surprise in all of the MLB this season keep it up.
If I would have told you before the start of the season that the Milwaukee Brewers would be the No. 1 team in the NL Central at the beginning of the season, you likely would have scoffed.
The Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals all made the playoffs last season, leaving the Brewers in their dust. Now the tables have turned.
At this moment the only team anywhere near playoff connection in the division is the Brewers. The Brewers have a seven to eight game lead over their division rivals, the biggest margin in all of baseball.
The Brewers have a hard-hitting defense and a consistent pitching staff that has led them to be one of the best teams in the MLB not just the NL Central division.
The team has been consistent against the Pirates, however, they have a harder time defeating the Cardinal and the Reds which could lead to either team gaining some footing when the eventual series between the teams happen but that is hardly a guarantee and the odds are with the Brewers maintaining their dominance. As long as they stay healthy of course.
The Brewers have but one weakness and it is a big one. The Brewers have no depth. If they lost any players in their batter rotation or pitching staff to injury they do not have the backup talent or the money to replace them.
In other words, the rest of the teams in the NL Central division only have the hope of the Brewers becoming unlucky in order to defeat them.
