Talk about the worst Christmas present ever. On Tuesday U.S. women’s soccer star Alex Morgan announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Servando Carrasco, who plays for the MLS’s Houston Dynamo.

I don’t know much about this Servando Carrasco character, but I think I speak for all of America when I say that there’s absolutely no chance he’s good enough for a national treasure like Alex Morgan.

That being said, these two kids seem hellbent on making a go of it, so all we can do is get on board or risk alienating her. Morgan and Carrasco have been together for about five years now, dating back to their college soccer days at Cal.
