Lightning And Blackhawks Both Look To Gain Edge In Game 3
The the odds and total is set for Game 3 of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Tampa Bay Lightning took Game 2 with a 4-3 win. The Chicago Blackhawks were +122 underdogs. The total was set at seven goals in that game and the OVER bettors left the game happy.
The books seems to expect the Blackhawks to bounce back and gave them a -170 moneyline against the Lightning in Game 2. The total is now set at 5.5 points.
The game will be set in the Windy City, which doesn’t really worry Tampa Bay who are 7-2 straight up over their last nine road games. However, they are playing one of the best teams at home in the playoffs. Chicago is 7-1 straight up over its last eight home games.
The total has been wild to bet on. Both these teams trend toward opposite ends of the spectrum on totals. The Blackhawks have hit the OVER in five of their last six. The Lightning hit the UNDER in four of their five last games on the road.
