He hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2011-12 season, but apparently Gilbert Arenas still has more than enough jump in his shot to conquer the basketball hoops game at the Orange County Fair.
Over the weekend Arenas cleaned at least one unlucky carney, winning one massive stuffed toy after another and scoring some serious points in the ‘Best Dad Ever’ category with his kids. He scored a sweet donut hat for himself too.
Although Arenas said that incredible haul got him banned from the fair, a reporter at the local ABC affiliate decided to do a little digging.
OC Fair tells @ABC7JulieSone that Gilbert Arenas hit the daily max prize limit of 15 on the basketball games, can come back another day.

As it turns out, Arenas wasn’t banned for life as the caption on his photo seemed to imply. But the fact that he reached the daily limit is pretty impressive in and of itself, as anyone who has ever dropped cash in the triple digits, only to walk away without a single prize can attest to.
