Brees Injury Shifts Odds

Drew Brees has been Ruled out in the New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers game. Brees has a bruised rotator cuff.

Brees joined a long list of quarterbacks (Tony Romo, Jay Cutler) that will be sidelined on Sunday. Brees injury has seriously had an impact on the line of the game. Carolina is now an 8-point favorite against the Saints.

Carolina opened as 3-point favorites last week when the odds first opened. It only took an hour for the odds to shift even further in favor of the Panthers.

The Panthers also have their own injuries to contend with. Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly is still not practicing with the name and will not be playing on Sunday.

The total for the game is set at 42.5 points. Without Brees the OVER hitting seems unlikely.
