Brees A Go: Shifts Odds
Drew Brees status was highly questionable for the New Orleans Saints battle with the Dallas Cowboys tonight, however it was recently announced that Brees would indeed be able to start tonight, shifting the odds.
The odds first opened in favor of the Cowboys but shifted to New Orleans being -3-point favorites after it was confirmed that Brees would start.
Tony Romo will still be out, while the Cowboys look to turn the tides of Brandon Weeden’s quarterback woes. Weeden has lost nine straight games as a starter and when starting his team has failed to cover in all of those nine games going back to when he was with the Cleveland Browns.
New Orleans trends are not much better, though. The Saints are 0-6 in their last six home games straight up and against the spread.
A positive for the Cowboys in the last 10 meetings between these two teams the underdog has at least covered nine of those times.
The total is set at 48 points. The total has hit the OVER the last four times these two teams have done battle. However, with Brees coming back from a shoulder injury and no Romo, many betting analysts are recommending a bet on the UNDER.
