Indianapolis Colts Favorites Over New Orleans Saints In Week 7
The Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints are two teams in the NFL that have not lived up to expectations during the 2015 campaign. Andrew Luck’s Colts came into the season with Super Bowl aspirations while Drew Brees’ Saints were hoping to bounce back and make a run at a playoff spot in the NFC.
Although both teams still have top-tier quarterbacks, the outlook for the rest of the season doesn’t look good for either side. Indianapolis may have been able to Luck back under center last week after he missed the two previous games with a shoulder injury, but the Colts lost to the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.
As for New Orleans, Brees and company are coming off an impressive victory over the division rival Atlanta Falcons in Week 6. The win over Atlanta has some thinking the Saints may have begun to turn the corner, but the consensus remains that this team will lose their fifth game of the season in Week 7.
As of right now, the Saints head into this matchup with the Colts as -4.5 underdogs, via Sportsbook.ag. New Orleans will be on the road against a hungry Colts squad looking to prove the team is still a title contender and ready to bounce back after a loss to the Patriots last week.
Although the Saints may put up more of a fight than anticipated on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium, the end result will likely be as predicted. Indianapolis should come out with the win while covering the -4.5 point spread.
