Duke Meets Indiana in New Era Pinstripe Bowl
The college football bowl season enters its second week on Saturday with a great matchup in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl from Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York between the Indiana Hoosiers and Duke Blue Devils.

During the regular season, Indiana was 6-6 straight up and 7-5 against the spread, while Duke during its regular season finished 7-5 SU and 6-6 ATS.
This is the first meeting on the gridiron or these two teams since 1984. Indiana is appearing in its first bowl game in 8 years and just its third in 22 years.
Duke is making a fourth consecutive bowl appearance but has not won a bowl games since 1961.
Both teams have very talented quarterbacks with Nate Sudfeld a senior at Indiana in the lead in passing yards for the Big Ten with 3,184, in touchdowns with 24 and in pass efficiency at 153.9.
Sudfeld helped the Hoosiers win two straight road games to put them into bowl contention. In the wins over Purdue and Maryland, Sudfeld had 735 yards passing and 8 touchdowns with no interceptions.
Thomas Sirk the star quarterback for Duke was No. 3 in the ACC with pass completions but hurts opponent worse by rushing as he led the Blue Devils in rushing with 648 yards and six rushing touchdowns.
Both teams had heartbreaking losses after strong starts, which may have changed their seasons. Indiana lost 55-52 to Rutgers during a stretch of six straight losses.
Duke started 6-1 on the season but an eight-lateral kickoff return by Miami that ended in a game winning touchdown stated a losing streak of four games for the Blue Devils.
Jordan Howard the star running back for Indiana should have a completely healed knee for this game and could start. Howard had 1,213 yards rushing over just nine games during the season.
Duke has five receivers with 30 or more receptions and four rushers with 300 or more yards.
This game should feature a number of scores with both teams likely in the high 30s or even low 40s.
Prediction: This game will come down to who has the ball last or which team can force a late game turnover to push the game in their favor. Both teams have solid signal callers but the edge here goes to Indiana. Take the Hoosier and the points.
