NBA Sunday Odds: All Eyes On Harden And Westbrook
With the season winding down the NBA Sunday odds are getting cast to the side in favor of keeping an eye on the MVP race.
NBA Sunday Odds Focus On MVP Race
We discussed the close MVP odds between James Harden and Russell Westbrook yesterday. Both players have done amazing things this season. Westbrook has averaged tri ple-double for the season. Harden is leading the Rockets into a legit playoff run in the tough West.
Despite being second in the MVP odds, the general feeling is that the MVP award is Westbrook’s to lose. However, there could be enough voters with eyes for Cleveland’s LeBron James and San Antonio’s Kawhi Leonard to cost Westbrook.
The only player to do what Westbrook has done, averaging triple-double on the season that is, is Oscar Robertson. That was 55 years ago. Robertson finished 3rd in MVP voting that season.
OKC will be taking on Denver today. The Nuggest are -4-point favorites. Houston will be facing the Sacramento Kings. The Rockets are -9-point favorites in that contest.
