NFL Betting Trends To Watch For
Football season is just a couple months away and some NFL betting trends are already beginning to develop that bettors should be keen on.
First to the obvious, the New England Patriots are favorites in the Super Bowl futures. The Pats pretty much have stayed at that top spot for the last three seasons, and are favored again this season after last season they won the Super Bowl in an epic comeback victory.
While it is easy to lay money on the Patriots, their populairity among casual bettors is setting up some nice returns on teams who still have a good chance at going all the way, including the Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers.
Meanwhile in win-total betting, the New York Jets opened at most sites with a 5.5 win total and bettors have been trending toward the UNDER, causing some books to drop the win total even lower. It seems bettors are expecting an awful season from the Jets.
In division betting, the AFC South is where bettors should be gravitating toward as it is, according to the odds, going to be the most competitive this season and is offering the best prices. With the Titans listed as favorites, prices on the other AFC South teams hover around +200.
