NFL Player Prop Bets: Kaepernick On The Field Odds
NFL player prop bets are always interesting but we would be re-missed for not admitting that the controversy surrounding quarterback Colin Kaepernick makes his odds more intriguing.
The young quarterback who started in a Super Bowl, essentially leading his team their, is having trouble finding work. He may has struggled for a couple season, but he, at the very least, fits the mold for a solid backup. This seems to indicate that it is Kaepernicks political views that are preventing him from taking the field not his talents.
Coaches claim he is a distraction, but that has rarely let them stop controversial players from performing before from Adrian Peterson to Ray Rice.
Public opinion seems to be in favor of Kaepernick taking the field. There are petitions and a general very loud public outcry that goes beyond just question whether or not Kaepernick will find a home but outright demanding that he does so.
Kaepernick, though, is still underdog to take the field this season with +165 odds of finding a home. However, their are always teams inneed of a solid quarterback, so he will likely be on the field sooner or later.
