76ers Rumors: Jahlil Okafor Back On The Trading Block In Philadelphia
The Philadelphia 76ers are potentially on the verge of drastically turning around the franchise. The team has reloaded with promising young talent with a bright future possibly on the horizon.
Unfortunately for Jahlil Okafor, the team’s plans don’t seem to involve the Duke product. According to Keith Pompey of the Philly Inquirer, Okafor is back on the trading block, and Philadelphia may be determined to send him packing.

Last season, the 76ers became relevant once again with Joel Embiid and Dario Saric leading the team. Although the franchise was unable to end the playoff drought, they saw a potential star emerge in Embiid, and now two more may be on the roster in the form of Ben Simmons and Markelle Fultz who are back-to-back No. 1 overall picks in the NBA Draft.
The combination of Simmons, Fultz, Embiid, and free-agent acquisition J.J. Redick may be enough to make a serious push for the playoffs in the Eastern Conference. The East was ripped apart by trades with stars Jimmy Butler, Paul George, and potentially Carmelo Anthony heading to the Western Conference.
The problem for the 76ers now is whether they’ll be able to trade Okafor and if the team will get anything of value in return. Philadelphia has been unable to move the troubled center ever since they brought him in, but it’ll be interesting to see if they can find a taker before next season.
