World Series Futures Update Ahead Of Playoffs
There is still some playoff spots to be determined before Oct. 3, but the World Series Futures are already settling down.
The Chicago Cubs just locked in their division. The team spent most of last season at the top of the World Series Odds, but the defended World Series champs have not fared as well this season.
The three hottest teams over the last few months, the Dodgers, Astros and Indians have all taken over the Cubs. With the Dodgers and Indians sitting atop of the odds with well-distanced +300 and +350 odds.
The Boston Red Sox have also crept into the top 5, though they did slump a bit earlier this month, diehard Boston betting support is likely lifting their odds above the Cubbies.
The Washington Nationals have also snuck in above the defending World Series champions as we prepare for the playoffs.
