NCAAF Week 13 Opening Lines: Iron Bowl Odds

This weekend in NCAAF Week 13 opening lines sees bettors focusing on the so-called Iron Bowl, pitting Alabama against home ‘dogs Auburn.

The opening line saw Alabama open as five-point favorites. However, bettors saw value in the Tigers who drove down the teams line to 4-point underdogs on most betting sites this morning.

Alabama is usually comfortable favorites in any game. This is one of the shortest lines the Crimson Tide has been tasked to cover in recent memory.

Bettors are looking at what was once a tough schedule for Alabama and have began to question whether or not their undefeated record is as impressive as it first seems. For example, Florida State was seen as a pinnacle win until it has become clear that the Seminoles are no where near the contenders they once were. However, bettors should not ignore strong performances from the Tide against LSU and Mississippi State.

Alabama best LSU 24-10 and Mississippi State 31-24, respectively. While those are tighter games than is normal for ‘Bama it would still be enough of a margin to cover against Auburn in the Iron Bowl.
