Denver Nuggets beat Bucks in Overtime
The Denver Nuggets came from behind to secure an overtime win against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night.
The match, which the Denver Nuggets eventually won 128 – 125, keeps the Nuggets playoff hopes alive. Nikola Jokic had 35 points, 13 rebounds, five assists as Denver recovered from an 18 point, 4th quarter deficit.
Jamal Murray had 27 points and seven assists for the Denver Nuggets. Â Paul Millsap contributed 26 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. Will Barton also had 11 points and 10 rebounds for Denver.
For the Milwaukee Bucks, Jabari Parker scored a season-high 35 points on 14-of-23 shooting and made 10 rebounds.
Eric Bledsoe scored 31 points and made 6 assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo finished the night with 18 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Khris Middleton finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds, while Tyler Zeller also scored 15 for Milwaukee.

Denver scored 8 points in the final 58 seconds of regulation time to force the overtime period. With 2.8 seconds to go, Murray stole the ball and was fouled. He scored all three resulting free throws to tie the game at 11 each.
The Nuggets edged the Bucks in overtime, but it was 125 – 121 with 29.8 seconds left. Two Eric Bledsoe Layups with 7.8 seconds left brought the deficit to just 126-125. A missed Parker three point attempt meant that the Denver Nuggets completed the turnaround and won the game.
The Denver Nuggets are now one game away from the New Orleans Pelicans, who are eight in the Western Conference. Sunday’s win means the last playoff spot is still up for grabs for the Nuggets.
In spite of losing, Milwaukee is level with the Miami Heat for the last two playoff places in the Eastern Conference.
