Luckily, this injury shouldn’t have much of an impact on the coming season for Fromm or the Bulldogs, given that it’s to his non-throwing hand.
However, there remains a chance now that 5-star freshman Justin Fields can do to Fromm what he did last year to Jacob Eason. Fields has already been pushing for playing time and now he’ll likely have more time to practice with the first-team offense while Fromm recovers.
Last year as a freshman, Fromm completed 62.2 percent of his passes for 2,615 yards with 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
