Heisman Odds After First Week
With one week of college football in the books, the Heisman odds have shifted but three clear contenders still top the list.
Back in February, when the odds first went up Bryce Love and Jonathan Taylor topped the list, which is a bit of a surprise, considering the award typically goes to a quarterback. Now a quarterback sits on top of the odds, and it is Crimson Tide QBÂ Tua Tagovailoa.
The change in odds came from Betonline.ag. What spurned the move is likely an increase of action on Tagovailoa after it became clear he would be starting for the Tide. It also doesn’t hurt that he finished his first game of the season 12-for-16 with 227 passing yards.
