NFL Week 7 odds: Making the case for each favorite

NFL Week 7 features big games for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams. We take a look at the favorites bets in NFL Week 7.

Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) at Denver Broncos

The Chiefs can’t play any worse than they have the past two weeks. On a short week, Kansas City has to go back to basics, and that should help the superior team.

Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants (-3)

The Giants are getting 10 days off coming into this one, while the Cards have to travel across the country to play an early game. Tough spot for the road team.

Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (-1)

The Colts are coming off a bye, and should be favored by the full three points. Indianapolis should also be healthier with the presumed return of Darius Leonard.

Jacksonville Jaguars (-3) at Cincinnati Bengals

Jacksonville desperately needs a win to stay in the race, and the Bengals are absolutely hideous. Good combo for the Jags.

Los Angeles Rams (-3) at Atlanta Falcons

The Rams have lost three straight, but there’s no bigger get-right team going than the Falcons. Here comes 500 yards for Los Angeles’ offense this weekend.

Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills (-16.5)

The Dolphins just lost at home to the Redskins and benched their quarterback in the process. Buffalo is coming off the bye, is vastly superior and at home. Slam dunk.

Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions (EVEN)

We’re treating the Lions as the favorite here since they’re at home. If not for two bogus calls against Trey Flowers, Detroit is significantly favored here. The Lions are good.

Oakland Raiders at Green Bay Packers (-7)

The Packers might be the best team in the NFC. Any time you can bet Aaron Rodgers over Derek Carr, you do it and don’t think twice.

San Francisco 49ers (-10) at Washington Redskins

The 49ers are undefeated and playing terrific football on both sides of the coin. Washington is a complete disaster is would be lucky to win three games this entire season.

Los Angeles Chargers at Tennessee Titans (-2)

The Titans might finally start the best quarterback on their roster in Ryan Tannehill. Always a jolt.

Baltimore Ravens at Seattle Seahawks (-3.5)

Seattle is a terrific team and the Ravens have to come across the country to play in one of the league’s toughest environments.

New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears (-3)

The Bears are at home and coming off their bye. Frankly, that’s the best argument. Not sure whey they are laying three points.

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (-3)

At some point, the Cowboys are going to rediscover themselves. What better wake-up call than a Sunday night against the Eagles for first place in the NFC East?

New England Patriots (-9.5) at New York Jets

The Patriots are really good and have 11 days rest. The Jets are better with Sam Darnold, but this is a major mismatch.
