Steelers will be without James Conner for a second straight game
The Pittsburgh Steelers have picked up steam over the last few weeks. They’ve won their last three straight games ahead of the Week 10 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
However, the Steelers will be shorthanded in the backfield for another week with James Conner still nursing shoulder injury, according to Brooke Pryor of ESPN.

For the second week in a row, the Pittsburgh Steelers ground attack will be without James Conner. After taking steps back in his recovery from a shoulder injury, Conner is listed as out for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Conner had missed last week’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. This led to Pittsburgh to lean on Jaylen Samuels and Trey Edmunds. That will likely once again be the case, with the former getting the bulk of the work in the backfield in the contest.
The Steelers have a stiff challenge ahead against the Rams. They will face a defense that has picked it up over the last few weeks. The team is also welcoming the return of Clay Matthews after suffering a broken jaw earlier in the season.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles has also made the big-splash addition of star cornerback Jalen Ramsey before the trade deadline. The Steelers will have the benefit of playing at home, but it doesn’t take away from the quality of the opponent that they will be facing this week.
Pittsburgh has put themselves back in contention for the playoffs along with possibly making a strong push to secure the AFC North division title trailing the Baltimore Ravens by just two games.
