Ravens star Earl Thomas issues a warning to possible Super Bowl opponents

The Baltimore Ravens have become the talk of the NFL over the last several weeks. With Lamar Jackson, they’re pushing their way forward towards one of the best teams in the league.

It has created a great deal of confidence around the Ravens, especially after tallying their seventh straight win in a convincing performance over the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night. Ahead of Week 13 action against the San Francisco 49ers, star safety Earl Thomas made it quite clear where he believes his team will wind up when the season ends, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

“You think the 49ers are going to the Super Bowl?” Thomas said Wednesday. “It could be. Let’s see. … When the Super Bowl comes, whoever we play, they’re going to be in trouble.”

The matchup against the 49ers will be a huge test for the Ravens to see where they stand among the top teams in the league. San Francisco has been pegged by many as the top team in the NFC, especially after their lopsided win over the Green Bay Packers.

Baltimore has been an absolute force on both sides of the ball. They hold arguably the most explosive offense behind the play of quarterback Lamar Jackson putting forth an MVP caliber campaign. The Ravens are also pace to be the first team in NFL history to average more than 200 rushing yards per contest.

All of this just further sets the table for what could be a potential Super Bowl preview on Sunday afternoon.
