5 NFL offenses which will be sneakily good
There are a few dark horse teams who could trouble opposition defenses next year. Below we take a look at 5 underrated NFL attacking schemes.
5. Carolina Panthers
It might be a long season for first-year head coach Matt Rhule with the defense basically being completely revamped, but the offense could be fun. In the offseason, general manager Marty Hurney signed quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to a three-year deal and signed veteran receiver Robby Anderson to a two-year pact. Around them are All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey and wide receivers D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel.
Carolina won’t light up scoreboards, but it’s going to be one of the more diverse, interesting offenses in the league.

4. Arizona Cardinals
Look for the Cardinals to be a real problem in 2020. Kyler Murray is entering his second NFL year under center after being drafted No. 1 overall by Arizona out of the University of Oklahoma. In the offseason, the Cards traded for three-time All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins, giving Murray an elite weapon.
Of course, the Cardinals already have future first-ballot Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald and third-year man Christian Kirk on the outside. Factor in running back Kenyan Drake, and Arizona is stacked.
3. Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders are trying to keep up with the Kansas City Chiefs, and it’s going to happen with their offense (if it happens at all). Las Vegas surrounded veteran quarterback Derek Carr with rookie receivers Henry Ruggs III and Bryan Edwards, a pair of talented kids from the SEC.
The duo will join running back Josh Jacobs — another SEC talent — and receivers Hunter Renfrow and Tyrell Williams, along with tight end Darren Waller.

2. New York Giants
This is completely reliant on Daniel Jones turning the ball over less and making some improvements on the margins. If he can do so in his second year, the Giants have some real talent around him starting with Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley, who is entering his third season with the club.
New York also has some talent on the outside in receivers Darius Slayton, Golden Tate and Sterling Shepard, al of whom have the ability to make defenders miss in space.
1. Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow is taking over under center after Andy Dalton was at the helm for nine seasons. The No. 1 overall pick has ample talent to work with in running back Joe Mixon and receivers Tyler Boyd, A.J. Green and rookie Tee Higgins out of Clemson.
Considering second-year coach Zac Taylor is a bright offensive mind, look for the Bengals to be one of the more prolific offenses in 2020.
