Aaron Rodgers glad Packers are ‘flying under the radar’ after solid season
The Green Bay Packers made some drastic changes before the 2019 NFL season. The changed head coaches after a long stint with Mike McCarthy at the helm and it appears it may have been the right move with the team going 13-3, but falling short of another Super Bowl run with Aaron Rodgers under center.
Although the Packers were a force to be reckoned with under new head coach Matt LaFleur and a legitimate title contender, Green Bay isn’t getting strong buzz heading into 2020. Rodgers, however, doesn’t mind the lack of hype, via Rob Demovsky of ESPN.

“You know what, I don’t know about our squad,” Rodgers said Wednesday. “I think the beauty is there’s a lot of conversation about other teams, whether it’s Tom and Tampa, or the teams that were really solid last year, New Orleans, San Francisco, Seattle, Philadelphia, Dallas with Mike and what they’ve done to their roster. I like where we’re at as far as kind of flying under the radar even though we went 13-3 last year. We’ve got a chance to prove what kind of team we are to start the season out on Sunday, and I look forward to the opportunity.”

The Packers and the rest of the NFL have their handful with three teams that could be the teams to beat for many years to come. The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off their first title with Patrick Mahomes. The Baltimore Ravens are as explosive as any team in the league with Lamar Jackson under center, and the San Francisco 49ers may be the most balanced team in football.
With all that top-tier competition, the Packers have to take another step forward, especially with Rodgers not getting any younger at 36.
