The New England Patriots are not the dominant force of old. Although, they remain a competitive football team with Super Bowl aspirations.
In Week 4, the Patriots will face their toughest challenge of the season as they’ll go up against the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs who are coming off an impressive performance against Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens. Belichick talked about the Chiefs’ win over the Ravens and how he knows New England has its work cut out for them this week, via Pro Football Talk.

“[A]nother impressive performance, like usual,†he said regarding Kansas City’s 34-20 win over Baltimore. “They were really dominant in the first half — basically scored [27] points there in a half of football on the road. That’s a good football team. They’re a very explosive group. They played the Ravens well defensively. So they’re a good football team, very talented, well-coached, played with a lot of poise and discipline, so we know we’re going to have our work cut out for us in Kansas City. It’s a championship football team and we’re going to have to play our best game and coach it.â€

The Patriots are 2-1 on the season thus far with their only loss coming at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks and potential NFL MVP Russell Wilson.
Superstar newcomer Cam Newton has worked out well for the Patriots this season as he’s adapted to his role as Tom Brady’s successor seamlessly. However, the true test will be against the Chiefs who look like the favorite to win it all once again.
