NFL power rankings, AFC edition: Chiefs take tumble

Entering Week 4, we look at the NFL power rankings on the AFC side. We see a Kansas City Chiefs team struggling to find themselves.

16. New York Jets

This team is horrific.

15. Jacksonville Jaguars

See above.

14. Houston Texans

The Texans have almost no talent compared to most teams, but they’ve been fighting hard thus far. Give them credit.

13. Indianapolis Colts

At 0-3, the Colts now travel to Miami for the second leg of a three-game road trip. If they lose to the Dolphins and Jacoby Brissett, turn out the lights.

12. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins have to beat the Colts after losing to the Bills and Raiders in consecutive weeks. It’s a home game against a team without a win.

11. Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh is sunk with this offense. Ben Roethlisberger can’t throw anymore, and the offensive line is a mess in front of him.

10. New England Patriots

Mac Jones is good enough to manage a game, but the offense around him can’t create many big plays. It’s basically on the defense to win every contest.

9. Cincinnati Bengals

Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase are making sweet music. Now, a Thursday night affair at home against the Jaguars, who are still looking for their first win.

8. Denver Broncos

The Broncos are 3-0 but they’ve beaten the Giants, Jaguars and Jets. What do we make of that? Next up, Baltimore coming to the Mile High City. First real test.

7. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs remain the most talented team in the AFC, but they’re playing horrible football with six turnovers over the last five quarters.

6. Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert and Brandon Staley appear a dynamic duo, taking down the Chiefs in Arrowhead.

5. Tennessee Titans

The Titans are going to roll in the AFC South, which basically has tow expansion teams and the 0-3 Colts as competition.

4. Baltimore Ravens

It took Justin Tucker hitting a 66-yard field goal to beat the Lions. Baltimore would be happy, but also concerned.

3. Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders finally seem to have figured out some things defensively, and the offense is playing great ball behind Derek Carr.

2. Cleveland Browns

After losing a tight game in Kansas City, the Browns now have blowout wins over Houston and Chicago. Both sides of the ball are playing well.

1. Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen played great on Sunday, and Buffalo scored 43 points. When Allen is right, the Bills are brutal to beat.
