NFL power rankings, Week 10: Titans take over AFC
In our latest NFL power rankings in the AFC, the Tennessee Titans have earned the top spot with another great win.
16. Houston Texans
The Texans got Tyrod Taylor back to play against the 1-7 Dolphins, and promptly got blown out of the building.
15. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars… beat the Bills without scoring a touchdown? Strange but true.
14. Miami Dolphins
Miami won another game, getting to 2-7 as it tries to put some lipstick on what has been an awful season.
13. New York Jets
The Jets are coming out of their bye to take on Buffalo. The Bills once looked like the best team in the AFC, but maybe a chance to win?
12. Denver Broncos
Huge win in Dallas to get to 5-4. Are the Broncos a contender? No, but they’re in the mix for a wild card berth.
11. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are a weird team to figure in this week’s NFL power rankings. However they handled the Jets and at 4-5, are in position to make a run.

10. Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati was 5-2 and rolling two weeks ago. Now, after losses to the Jets and Browns, one wonders if the proverbial wheels are coming off.
9. New England Patriots
Mac Jones has been the epitome of a game manager through the first half of his rookie. The Patriots are going to need more from him down the stretch.
8. Cleveland Browns
Much like the Colts, the Browns are a brutal team to pin down. That said, huge win against the Bengals as they get ready for a date with the Pats.
7. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers have somehow won four straight and now draw the Lions. Should be 6-3 by weekend’s end.
6. Las Vegas Raiders
Tough loss after a brutal week for the Raiders. Now they come home for a massive game against the Chiefs.
5. Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes looks lost, but the defense has found itself and the special teams was truly special on Sunday.

4. Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers were able to stave off the Eagles with a game-winning field goal at the end. Not pretty, but certainly effective.
3. Buffalo Bills
How do the Bills lose to the Jaguars? It’s borderline conspiratorial. Buffalo needs to figure some things out.
2. Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens could be 2-6 easily, but they aren’t. Baltimore also has an MVP candidate in Lamar Jackson, who ran for 120 yards on Sunday.
1. Tennessee Titans
The Titans have now beaten the Rams, Chiefs, Bills and Seahawks this season. Tennessee deserves to be in the top spot here.
