Klay Thompson Returning At Right Time For Golden State Warriors
Golden State Warriors forward Klay Thompson is in line to return to the court after a 29-month layoff through injury.Â
Klay Thompson has been absent for the past two seasons due to a torn ACL and then an Achilles tear.
The three-time NBA champion has been participating in three-on-three sessions in practice. Klay Thompson is regarded as one of the best shooters in NBA history.
That’s a hell of a player to bring back – especially now, when the Warriors appear to be coming back to their best.

With Monday’s 127 – 113 win over the Atlanta Hawks, Golden State moved to 9-1, the best record in the league.
Their resurgence was typified by Steph Curry, who turned in a history-making performance.
Steph Curry (33), scored 50 points and made 10 assists for the first time in his career. In doing so he overtook Wilt Chamberlain as the oldest player to have a 50 point, 10 assist game.
Curry also had seven rebounds, three steals and a block to help GSW come back from 15 points down.

“That was just a stunning performance by Steph,” head coach Steve Kerr told reporters. “He was amazing.
“I want to say I’ve never seen anything like it but I’ve been watching it for seven years, so I have seen something like it and still it’s just incredible to watch.”
There will undoubtedly be readjustment concerns for Thompson after so long out of the game, but at least he will return to a team that’s playing well and engendering upward momentum.
The Warriors also have James Wiseman set to return from injury. They have a chance to continue their good form against the Timberwolves on Wednesday night.
