Lamar Jackson: ‘I looked like a rookie’ in disappointing 4-interception performance
The Baltimore Ravens pulled out a much-needed 16-10 win over the Cleveland Browns in Week 12 action.
The Ravens may have pulled out ahead against their AFC North rivals, it featured a rough passing performance from star quarterback Lamar Jackson, who threw four interceptions.
Days after the disappointing throwing display, Jackson remained upset at his poor decision-making.

“Bad passes, inaccurate, underthrown passes. That’s all I seen. Bad reads,” Jackson said according to ESPN. “I looked like a rookie.”
Although he took solace in being the first quarterback in eight years to win a game despite throwing four interceptions, it wasn’t a performance that he took away many positives from his outing.
Jackson struggled to find any consistency throwing the ball, which has been one of the biggest criticism directed toward him. He’s proven that he can be an effective passer, but he’s experienced some bumps along the way. He’s struggled to pass this season, with 15 touchdowns to a career-worst 12 interceptions.
However, the Ravens have had some notable offensive struggles in recent weeks, scoring below 20 points in three out of Jackson’s last four starts. Before that stretch, Baltimore surpassed 20 points in 50 of the star quarterback’s first 52 starts.

Despite those issues, the Ravens sit atop the AFC standings, holding an 8-3 record, positioned to secure the first-round bye. Jackson will have the opportunity to get back on track in Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with who he holds a 2-2 regular-season record with three touchdown passes to five interceptions.
