NFL power rankings, Week 15: Chiefs win big
We’re looking at the AFC version of the NFL power rankings, and the Kansas City Chiefs are continuing to roll. Below we examine the NFL power rankings for Week 15.
16. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars are the most broken team in the NFL. They can’t fire Urban Meyer and start looking for his replacement fast enough.
15. Houston Texans
Houston is fighting, but that’s a lousy team with almost no talent on either side of the ball. Good news? They get the Jaguars this weekend!
14. New York Jets
New York can’t figure out how to stop anybody, including Taysom Hill. Now, they get to take on the red-hot Dolphins.
13. Las Vegas Raiders
When you stomp on a team’s logo before the game, best not to go out and get beaten by 39 points.
12. Cleveland Browns
The Browns were barely able to beat Tyler Huntley and the Ravens on Sunday. They simply need to play better if they want to make the playoffs.

10. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are playing for their season this Sunday at home against the Titans. If they lose, it’s time to think about the draft.
9. Denver Broncos
Denver is 7-6 and somehow in the mix after having a very rough October and November. Now, a huge game with the Bengals at Mile High.
8. Cincinnati Bengals
After losing two straight, the Bengals are 7-6 and going to Denver this weekend. Feels like a must-win for Zac Taylor and Co.
7. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts are going into a huge two-game stretch where they host the Patriots and then visit the Cardinals on Christmas.
6. Buffalo Bills
It’s time to either get right, or go home. Buffalo might have to win out to make the playoffs.

5. Baltimore Ravens
If Lamar Jackson is hurt, the Ravens are finished. Even with him healthy, they have a brutal schedule including the Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, Bengals and Steelers.
4. Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers take over first place in the AFC West with a win on Thursday against the Chiefs. It’s the biggest game of Justin Herbert’s career.
3. Tennessee Titans
Can the Titans go to Pittsburgh and win with an offense sans Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown? We’re about to find out. Huge test.
2. New England Patriots
New England has won seven straight and now comes out of its bye to take on the Colts and Bills. Enormous swing.
1. Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs have won six straight, and their defense has been the league’s best in that span. Oh, and Patrick Mahomes is rounding into form.
