NFL Week 18 schedule: 5 QBs primed for huge games

Looking at the NFL Week 18 schedule, these five quarterbacks should put up big numbers against their respective opponents.

5. Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

Murray has an opportunity to go into the playoffs on a strong note after beating up the Dallas Cowboys with more than 300 total yards in Week 17. Now, Murray gets to take on the Seahawks. Seattle has been one of the worst teams over the past few months. With the NFC West still on the line — Arizona needs a win and then the Los Angeles Rams loss — Murray can create quite a moment in the desert.

4. Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans

The Titans are trying to hold onto the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff picture by going on the road and handling the Houston Texans. The last time these teams saw each other, Houston won 22-13 with the Titans turning the ball over five times, including four interceptions from Tannehill. With Julio Jones and A.J. Brown healthy and on the outside, Tannehill should enjoy a big day in the dome, helping Tennessee earn a 12th win.

3. Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles is trying to make the playoffs, and must beat the Las Vegas Raiders to do so. The Chargers and Raiders are both 9-7 and if the former loses, they’re out. If they win, they’re in. Enter Herbert, who has already lit the Raiders up once this year in primetime, doing so in Week 4 on a Monday night in October. Herbert should have ample opportunity to find receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, along with running back Austin Ekeler against a poor Las Vegas defense.

2. Carson Wentz, Indianapolis Colts

Wentz hasn’t been prolific this year, but he’s drawing the 2-14 Jacksonville Jaguars in a must-win game for Indy. If Wentz can’t go off against the Jaguars when their entire defense is keyed on running back Jonathan Taylor, the veteran quarterback has huge issues. He’s going to have a litany of good matchups featuring tight end Jack Doyle and receivers Michael Pittman Jr. and T.Y. Hilton.

1. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

The Bills are trying to lock up their second straight AFC East title, and only need to beat the lowly 4-12 New York Jets at home to do it. Allen has already destroyed the Jets once, going for 45 points in a win earlier this season. Between his legs and strong right arm, Allen has a great chance to put up huge numbers before going to the postseason.
