Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes says this is ‘just the beginning’
Since the Chiefs secured their second Super Bowl win in four years, there’s been no shortage of confidence.
Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the latest to spew strong words. He says that the Chiefs’ championship parade that the franchise is just starting to get things going.
“I just wanna let ya’ll know that this is just the beginning. We ain’t done yet,” Mahomes said via Pro Football Talk.

If things are just beginning, it’s been an impressive start for the franchise with Mahomes under center. In his first five seasons as the starter, he’s led the team to an AFC championship appearance, and three trips to the Super Bowl.
The Chiefs entered the 2022 season with some lingering doubt after trading star wide receiver Tyreek Hill. However, Mahomes used that as motivation to power him to another impressive campaign that earned his second regular-season MVP award, and more importantly lead the Chiefs to another Super Bowl win.
The 27-year-old has become the definition of a franchise quarterback and the unquestioned face of the league. He has put himself on the potential trajectory to challenge Tom Brady for the GOAT status at quarterback.

Mahomes has earned the recognition as the best quarterback in the league, and with him at the helm, the Chiefs will remain in Super Bowl contention. Kansas City will need to keep its core group together, which shouldn’t become a daunting task given the sustained success the organization maintains.
