Packers QB Jordan Love ‘grateful’ for time spent with Aaron Rodgers
The Green Bay Packers are officially past the Aaron Rodgers era and moving forward with Jordan Love at the helm.
After three seasons behind Rodgers, Love is getting the opportunity to showcase that he can become the franchise quarterback.
Love spoke to Rodgers after his trade stated his appreciation for the situation ahead of him in Green Bay.

“We talked after the trade,” Love said via ESPN. “Kind of just, ‘Wish you the best going forward.’ He wished me the best and [is] always there for me if I need anything, if I have any questions or anything. I’m always just grateful to be around him and for the time I had with him, to be able to learn and be behind him. It’s very grateful for me.”
The Packers are all hands on deck with giving Love every chance to prove himself as the next franchise cornerstone. He has spent the last three years behind Rodgers, which could be beneficial to his growth as an NFL quarterback.
Green Bay is moving into a transition period where the team will give Love time to fit comfortably into his new role. However, the pressure is on him to showcase that he was worth the team finally moving on from Rodgers.
