Aaron Rodgers says Jets ‘going all-in’ after Davante Adams trade
Over the past couple of weeks, there had been a lot of speculation about the immediate future of superstar wide receiver Davante Adams after it became clear he no longer wanted to play for the Las Vegas Raiders. Even though Adams denied on multiple occasions any desire to be traded by the Raiders during the NFL offseason, the three-time All-Pro changed his stance quickly during the regular season and made it clear that he wanted a reunion with superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers by being moved to the New York Jets.
With the Jets struggling over the course of the first six weeks of the 2024 NFL season, resulting in the team recently parting ways with head coach Robert Saleh, Rodgers was all for reuniting with his former Green Bay Packers teammate in New York.

Earlier this week, the Jets were able to pull off the trade to acquire Adams, which might significantly improve the team’s chances of competing for a title this season. Rodgers and Adams reacted to the blockbuster trade on The Pat McAfee Show, with the veteran quarterback claiming the team is “all-in” while the veteran wideout was happy to be out of Las Vegas via ESPN.
“We’re back, man,” Adams said while briefly joining Rodgers at the Jets’ facility in Florham Park, New Jersey, for the quarterback’s weekly appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show.” “We’re back.”
“Obviously, I’m really excited,” Rodgers said, adding: “It’s on us now. We’re going all-in.”
Although this immediately makes the Jets more of a threat offensively, with Rodgers and Adams having such great chemistry on the football field, it remains to be seen if this dynamic duo will work in New York.
These two future Hall of Famers aren’t getting any younger, as this could be their last chance to win a Super Bowl title together, and only time will tell if things come together for the Jets moving forward.
