Vikings star Justin Jefferson returns to practice
Minnesota Vikings superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson has played in 17 games in three of the five seasons he’s been in the NFL. However, he’s dealt with some issues over the past two seasons, and recently dealt with a left hamstring strain, which has kept him sidelined for almost a month.

Fortunately for the Vikings, Jefferson was able to get back on the practice field this week after missing 25 days with the hamstring issue, according to Kevin Seifert of ESPN.
Minnesota Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson practiced Monday for the first time in 25 days as he continues to recover from the left hamstring strain he suffered last month.
Jefferson admitted that being sidelined for so long while only being able to watch his Vikings teammates in practice was starting to wear on him.
“I’m a kid at heart. I want to be out here with the guys. I want to be playing football and I want to be in the mix. I don’t like to be the one only person standing on the side.
“It’s not fun just working out with yourself and competing with yourself. So it is definitely tough at times mentally, but every day you just got to focus on the things that you need to focus on.”
The Vikings are using the cautious approach with Jefferson, which is likely the smart move, considering he’s undoubtedly the best player on the team and a game-changer for the offense when healthy.
Jefferson will get his first shot at playing with quarterback JJ McCarthy, who missed his entire rookie campaign due to a knee injury he suffered during last year’s NFL preseason.
