Odell Beckham Jr. accepts punishment from NFL
Star NFL wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. went from being arguably the best player in the league at his position with the New York Giants to a player who wasn’t even a starter with the Miami Dolphins.
Beckham played in nine regular-season games with the Dolphins during the 2024 NFL season, catching only nine passes for 55 receiving yards and zero touchdowns. The once-household name revered around the league became an afterthought with an uncertain future in the NFL.

As if it wasn’t bad enough where his playing career was headed, Beckham has now been suspended by the NFL for six games, according to ESPN.
Odell Beckham Jr. has accepted a six-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs, delaying the star wide receiver’s comeback attempt.
The veteran wide receiver maintains his innocence in this situation, claiming he didn’t know he took any substances that were banned by the league.
Beckham insisted that he did not knowingly take any banned substances. The three-time Pro Bowler added that when he asked the league what PED he tested positive for, he was told, “Your testosterone levels are too high.”
The suspension will appear on the NFL’s official transaction wire Tuesday, which will start the six-week clock before Beckham is eligible to play.
At this point, it seems like a foregone conclusion that Beckham’s playing career has come to an end, as he is no longer the same threat downfield and now faces this suspension, which will impact any attempt to sign with a new team.
