NCAA Games to Watch This Week

This week in college basketball will be a slow one until the weekend in which we will have the opportunity to watch some very interesting games as we prepare ourselves for a big weekend in sports.

Wisconsin versus Ohio State – January 29

Wisconsin taking on Ohio State is the most interesting match up before the weekend.  Wisconsin has been on the verge of the AP Poll top 25 all season.  They have a 14-6 record overall and are 5-2 in the very tough Big Ten division.  They have dealt out some upset victories against some of the best teams in the nation.  They have added a mark in the W column against the likes of Illinois and Indiana.  Wisconsin will have the opportunity to add another upset to their record against the number 11 ranked Ohio State.

Michigan Versus Indiana – Feb. 2

Nothing grabs people’s attention like two of the top ranked teams in the nation going head to head.  AP Poll has Michigan ranked number one with Indiana ranked number three.  We could easily see these teams switch positions of Indiana can pull out a victory against Michigan. This game is a much watch as the implications on the rankings are huge.

Florida Versus Ole Miss – Feb. 2

Again, two ranked teams going head to head.  While, Florida and Ole Miss have the same overall win-loss record at 16-2, Florida enjoy the luxury as being ranked fourth in the nation according to the AP Poll.  Ole Miss is ranked 16th in the nation.  A win for Ole Miss would seriously shake up the rankings.  This is another game that has major implications that you should not miss.

Louisville Versus Marquette – Feb. 3

While many are not willing to predict Marquette to win this game, we need to keep in mind that Louisville has recently been showing weakness.  The ranked 25th Marquette find themselves positioned to prove that they belong in the National Championship conversation if they can pull out an upset against Louisville.

Louisville are currently on a three game losing streak.  Another loss would have a huge impact on both their rankings, National Championship odd and their overall stock as a team.  A win for Marquette will give them a big boost.

The more the Cardinals lose, the more that every game becomes a must win situation.

These factors make this game the other big game that takes place on Sunday.
