Baylor Versus Texas Tech Preview
One of the highlights from the Wednesday his schedule is the game between Baylor and Texas Tech.
Baylor is ranked 12th in the nation and will be looking for its second consecutive win. Baylor lost its Big 12 opening game last week and will be looking to continue to build upon its win over TCU against Texas Tech.
Texas Tech has not really found its game this season. Â They are 8-8 overall and are still looking for their first conference win. An upset victory over Baylor could be what this team needs to jump start its slumping season.
Baylor took a rough loss to a surging Iowa State last week that looked like it may slow down the team.  However, they got back to business as usual against TCU beating them by double digits. Taurean Prince is begging to take shape as a formidable weapon off the bench. Price scored a career-high 23 points against TCU. In fact, the entirety of Baylor’s bench look good during the contest, proving this is a dangerous team regardless of who is on the court.
Texas Tech has lost three straight games. Their offense is weak. In their last outing they shot 21 of 46 and went 6 of 18 from behind the arc. Â If they hope to upset Baylor they will need better offensive production. Â They also allow a lot of turnover, 12 in their last game alone.
The odds are not outrageously in the favor of Baylor like in some games. Â Instead Baylor is the -4.5 favorite over at Bovada. Most point spreads hover between four and 4.5.
The game starts at 7 p.m. ET and can be watched on ESPN U.
