Updated College Football Futures
Defending national champion Florida State remains the favorite to win the 2015 National Championship, according to online sportsbook Bovada.
The Seminoles – odds on favorites to win the ACC – were named the No. 1 favorite immediately after winning the championship this past January, and are currently listed at 11/2 to repeat their success of a year ago.
But those odds are slightly down based on January’s numbers, when the team was considered 17/4 to win the championship.
Nick Saban’s Alabama sits at No. 2 on Bovada’s list, with 6/1 odds of winning the crystal football. The Crimson Tide will be looking to secure a fourth title in six seasons.
The high-scoring Oregon is nipping at the Tide’s heels on the futures list, with 8/1 odds of winning it all.
The top five is closed out by 2010 champions Auburn (9/1) and Ohio State (10/1), losers of just two games in the last two years.
The Tigers of Auburn are one of the sides that have seen its stock rise since last January. The same is true of Georgia, considered 25/1 to win the championship back in January, and 16/1 to win it now.
Teams on the downward spiral include Stanford (was 20/1; now 33/1), Clemson (was 33/1; now 66/1), Missouri (was 33/1; now 66/1), and Oklahoma State (was 33/1; now 75/1).
