NFL Fantasy Rankings: Top 10 at QB, RB, WR and TE for Week Three

Domestic violence and child-abuse allegations have dominated the headlines the last two weeks, and they are also having an impact on Fantasy Football.

The Vikings were very optimistic after a strong training camp under first-year head coach Mike Zimmer and a Week One blowout win over the St. Louis Rams on the road.

However, the Vikings are in big trouble now without Adrian Peterson, who has been suspended because of the child-abuse and cruelty charges that have been filed against him in the state of Texas. The Vikings wanted to reinstate the best running back in football at the start of the week, but public pressure forced them to reverse their decision.

With Peterson on the sidelines until further notice, Arian Foster of the Houston Texans becomes the No. 1 back in fantasy football for the foreseeable future.

Quarterbacks

1. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay at Detroit – Big comeback vs. Jets in Week Two has lit the fuse for Rodgers. Look for 325 yards and three TD passes in this game as Packers get likely cover as well.
2. Matt Ryan, Atlanta vs. Tampa Bay  –Ryan is back in his comfort zone at the Georgia Dome and he will torch Bucs secondary.
3. Matthew Stafford, Detroit vs. Green Bay – Look for high-scoring game between these two NFC North rivals and Stafford has top weapons to light up scoreboard.
4. Peyton Manning, Denver vs. Seattle
5. Drew Brees, New Orleans vs. Minnesota
6. Jay Cutler, Chicago at New York Jets
7. Tony Romo, Dallas at St. Louis
8. Tom Brady, New England vs. Oakland

Running backs

1. Arian Foster, Houston at N.Y. Giants – Powerful running back is key to Texans’ return to consistency. Good for 125 yards and a touchdown here. Texans win by double-digits.
2. Marshawn Lynch, Seattle vs. Denver – Lynch may be the toughest player on the Seahawks’ roster, and he wants to punish Broncos and will find the endzone twice.
3. Chris Johnson, N.Y. Jets vs. Chicago – Johnson has been looking for a spot to show off his speed and explosiveness. It happens against vulnerable Bear front seven.
4. DeMarco Murray, Dallas at St. Louis
5. Matt Forte, Chicago at N.Y. Jets

3. Dez Bryant, Dallas at St. Louis – Is there a hungrier player anywhere in the NFL. Bryant continues to make huge plays for Cowboys.

3. Julius Thomas, Denver at Seattle – Thomas will have to earn everything he gets vs. champs, but Gates showed that a top tight end can cause problems for Seahawks.
