11 top­-25 ranked teams lost this weekend. That is tied for the most in a single regular season week since the AP poll existed in 1936. This was also the first time since 1990 that four of the top six ranked teams have lost. There was a .3% chance that Oregon, Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and UCLA would all lose this week, according to ESPN’s Football Power Index. .3%. What will next week hold? It was something else to say the least but she gave the experts a run for their money by correctly predicting that Ole Miss to upset Alabama. College Gameday is headed to Starkville for the Auburn vs. Mississippi State game next week ­ one that is again going to be a major indicator of who will be the last four teams standing at the end of the season and moving onto the playoffs.
